Photographs of Alberta and the Canadian Rockies, printed on textured fine art paper. Unframed Open Editions from $99 CAD.
About the Open Editions
This collection brings together photographs from the Canadian Rockies and the wider Alberta landscape. You'll find mountain lakes, winter mornings, prairie light, and quieter scenes between the bigger views.
Open Editions are not restricted to a numbered print run. They are not hand-signed or numbered, and they do not include a limited-edition Certificate of Authenticity.
The paper and the print
These photographs are printed with archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle German Etching, a heavyweight 310gsm fine art paper with a textured matte surface. I like the way it handles softer light and the quieter tones in a landscape.
The prints arrive unframed so you can choose a frame that suits your room. You can read more about the paper and presentation on the Materials & Craft page.
Choosing a size
Standard sizes run from 8x12 inches at $99 CAD to 20x30 inches at $395 CAD, with 12x18 and 16x24 options in between. Some compositions use different proportions, so check the sizes listed on the photograph you choose.
Think about where the print will hang and how far away you'll usually be when you see it. A small print can work well beside a desk or as part of a group. A larger print gives the photograph more room on an open wall. Remember to allow extra space for your frame and any mat.
Not sure about the size? Send me a wall photo and one known measurement. I'll help you compare the options with a complimentary room preview.
