Aurora Over Peyto Lake - James Andrew Fine Art Photography

Limited edition fine art prints of the Canadian Rockies and Alberta wilderness —crafted for spaces that demand presence.

Alberta,as you've never seen it

Crowned in Light - James Andrew Fine Art Photography

For most of my life, I worked with my hands. As an electrician, I understood craft, the patience it takes to do something precisely, the satisfaction of work that lasts.

Three years ago, I walked away from that career to pursue the only thing that moved me more: the light over the Alberta Rockies at 5am, when the mountains are still asleep and the sky is doing something that won't happen again.

Every image I make is the result of that same discipline — hours of waiting, miles of hiking, and a refusal to press the shutter until the moment is exactly right.

These aren't photographs of places. They're records of rare moments in a landscape I love.

Built to Last a lifetime

Every print is produced using archival pigment inks and museum-grade materials chosen for longevity, tonal depth, and the way they hold light on a wall.

From textured German Etching paper to high-clarity acrylic mounting — nothing leaves my studio unless I’d hang it in my own home.
