Where Winter Pauses
Limited Edition Fine Art Print
About This Print
Where Winter Pauses was captured at Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park on a winter evening that didn't go as planned. The forecast had promised aurora. The sky was clear on the drive in. And then the clouds moved in and stayed. After a long wait in the cold, just as the last of the sunset light was fading, a small hole opened in the cloud cover and revealed a single peak above the cabin, lit briefly, quietly, like something that wasn't meant to be seen. It wasn't the image I came for. It was something more modest, and somehow more moving.
This is a limited edition Master Collection fine art landscape photography print, available on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm cotton rag paper and as an acrylic face mount, the same archival standards used by fine art galleries worldwide. Emerald Lake sits in Yoho National Park in British Columbia, just west of the Alberta border, its glacier-fed water running a vivid green that persists even in the depths of winter. Produced in a strictly limited run, hand-signed and numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Once the edition sells out, it will not be reprinted.
