There wasn’t a grand plan, I just needed to get outside, breathe some fresh mountain air, and see where the trail would take me. When I reached this ridge and looked out across the untouched snow, it stopped me in my tracks. The soft light, the wide-open space, the silence, it was one of those rare moments where everything just feels right.

I called it The Expanse because that’s exactly what it felt like, this vast, peaceful stretch of wilderness that reminded me how small we are, and how good that can be.
