A single bird, mid-song, framed against a full moon in a sky gone deep blue with the last of the light. There is nothing else in the frame. No landscape, no horizon, no context. Just the shape of the bird, the branch it holds, and the moon behind it, close enough to touch.

It’s a quiet image about a loud act. The bird is singing into the dark, and the photograph holds that moment still. Printed small and hung close, it asks to be looked at the way you’d listen for something far off.
