Aurora Over Bow Lake
Limited Edition Fine Art Print
About This Print
Aurora Over Bow Lake was captured on Remembrance Day 2025 during one of the strongest solar storms in years, from the edge of Bow Lake in Banff National Park. A small group of photographers stood together in the dark, cameras ready, voices low, and then the sky filled all at once. Green and red aurora stretching and pulsing over the mountains above the lake. Nobody said much. Just the sound of shutters and the quiet awareness that something rare was unfolding. Nobody wanted to be the first to leave.
This is a limited edition Master Collection fine art landscape photography print, available on Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm cotton rag paper and as an acrylic face mount, the same archival standards used by fine art galleries worldwide. Bow Lake sits along the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park, Alberta, at the foot of the Wapta Icefield, one of the most dramatic aurora viewing locations in the Canadian Rockies. Red aurora, caused by oxygen at higher altitudes, appears far less frequently than the classic green, making this a particularly rare capture. Produced in a strictly limited run, hand-signed and numbered, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Once the edition sells out, it will not be reprinted.
